Compatible batteries may be an alternative; however, some manufacturers may misrepresent the actual capacity, or their quality may not be good enough. If you have replaced the screen with an IPS screen or the charging port with a USB-C port, I’m sure you’ll also want to replace the battery to make your GBA SP perfect.
