Description The Game Boy Color USB-C Charging Kit is a circuit that allows you to charge a Nintendo Game Boy Color via USB-C and use a Li-ion battery instead of AA batteries. This kit includes two boards. If you want an easy installation, the main board is sufficient and doesn’t require any additional cables to function. However, if you want to have the status LEDs in the same place as the original status LED, then you will need to solder the second board and connect both with 3 cables. If you also want to replace the original power supply, it’s important that it is compatible with the voltage provided by the battery kit; otherwise, you may damage the console. Since version 1.7, the shape has changed, but the features remain the same. The battery connector has been moved to a place where cutting the plastic shell is no longer necessary.
